Position: Administrative Assistant – Structured Finance
Location: Cayman Islands

About the Role

The Administrative Assistant reports to an Assistant Vice President, Vice President  or Senior Vice President.  Its responsibilities feed one larger objective: deliver high levels of client service, while ensuring that each client relationship is compliant with internal policies and procedures.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Handling high volumes of incoming airmail and/or couriers, including coding, opening, scanning, electronic filing and distribution, often against pressing timelines.
  • Scanning documents and filing on physical documents, where required.
  • Preparing and arranging local and international outgoing courier packages.
  • Hand deliveries within a close proximity.
  • Preparing files for archiving.
  • General administrative tasks, including preparing cover letters, arranging execution of documentation, application of stamp duty, as part of a centralised team, as required.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc projects, as required.

EXPERIENCE

What You Bring

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in the financial services industry;
  • The ability to multi-task 
  • Meticulousness and keen attention to detail;
  • The ability to apply training, fundamental concepts and experience to new and varied scenarios independently;
  • The ability to easily adapt to changes, including new policies, procedures, systems and hardware;
  • The ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and ensure deadlines and targets are met; and
  • Strong organizational and record keeping skills.
