Position: Finance Manager
Location: Cayman Islands

About the Role

The Finance Manager will service in our Finance department and will be responsible for the Finance function in our Cayman office. 

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for various jurisdictions including Cayman;
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, annual budgets, cashflow management and financial forecasts for multiple legal entities;
  • Monitor and coordinate detailed reporting and submissions regarding financial performance, statutory and regulatory reports;
  • Oversee the annual audit for stand alone and consolidated structures and involved in coordinating components of the Maples Group global audits;
  • Manage and supervise all financial transaction cycles and monitor client balances;
  • Responsible for adhering to the Finance policies and procedure manuals within the team and will be involved in monitoring of global transfer pricing policies.

EXPERIENCE

What You Bring

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:

  • An internationally recognised accounting designation (e.g. CPA, ACA, ACMA or ACCA);
  • A minimum of 6 years post-qualified experience and at least 4 years audit experience, preferably in the Big 4;
  • He/She will have held a similar managerial role at an equivalent level for at least 3 years;
  • Proven management skills relating to processes, work flows, training and development of a Finance team including various levels of professionals;
  • Highly organized, efficient and have project management skills in order to lead planned initiatives;
  • A self-starter with the ability to independently and pro-actively manage upcoming deliverables;
  • Willingness to work overtime and under pressure.
