Position: Senior Vice President-Fiduciary
Location: Cayman Islands

About the Role

Senior Vice President - Fiduciary who will be assisting with the management of a team of professionals in the Cayman Islands.  The successful candidate will serve as director of a diverse portfolio of offshore companies engaged in the securitization industry, particularity with structured finance transactions including CLO/CDOs, Note Programmes, Repackaging vehicles and other complex bespoke financing structures.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing an existing portfolio of structured finance transactions, assuming fiduciary duties on these transactions, reviewing and commenting on transaction documents, coordinating the client acceptance process and delivering exceptional client service while ensuring that each client relationship is compliant with internal policies and procedures; 
  • Be involved in ad hoc projects and may represent MaplesFS at various industry association events;
  • Experienced professional who has a strong technical knowledge and detailed understanding of corporate governance and the securitization industry; 
  • Proven ability to form effective relationships and liaise with investment bankers, lawyers, investment managers, custodians and other transaction parties located in various international jurisdictions;
  • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and decision making skills as well as strong drafting, communication and presentation skills are essential; and
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant local laws and current regulatory requirements with a focus on AEOI, AML Regulations and Economic Substance is required.  


What You Bring

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:

  • A university graduate with an excellent academic background and have at least 8 years relevant structured finance experience. 
  • An internationally recognised professional designation and a proven track record of managing a team would be an asset.
