Position: HR Administrator 
Location: Cayman

About the Role

The HR Administrator performs a variety of generalist HR functions for the offices of Cayman and the BVI. The post holder will assist employees in a polite, friendly and confidential manner and balance multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Duties include, but are not limited to: providing support to the Talent Acquisition Team with recruitment and on-boarding; managing the HR inbox and responding to general queries, redirecting queries when appropriate; managing the benefits administration for Maples employees; assisting with the coordination of summer student placements and  assisting the HR team with assigned and ad hoc projects


What You Bring

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate should:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in an HR function is required.   
  • An HR Certification is desirable or alternatively the willingness to work towards such. 
  • The post holder must possess strong organisational skills coupled with exceptional interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. 
  • Approachability and the ability to interact with employees of all levels in a polite and professional manner is essential. 
  • The ability to remain calm and polite in demanding situations is critical.
  • A focus on client service, accuracy and attention to detail is essential.  
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to multi-task, while maintaining accuracy is important. 
  • The post holder must be highly confidential.  
  • An advanced level of Microsoft office is required as is the ability to adapt quickly to new software.
