This is an exciting training opportunity for an ambitious, highly-organised and sharp professional to take the next step in their career by joining a team of experienced legal professionals as a Junior Secretary.

The Junior Secretary will support the Secretaries, Team Leader and Attorneys with the day to day administration of working in a legal environment.  Responsibilities will include: file opening and closing; answering telephone calls; generating pre-bills; preparing and cancelling invoices; audit responses; organising and coordinating internal and external meetings; taking, typing and distribution of minutes of meetings; booking travel; liaising with clients and third parties; scanning and photocopying; undertaking ad hoc projects and assisting team members.


The successful candidate will have at least 2 years prior secretarial and /or administrative experience in a professional office environment. Previous experience in a legal environment would be an asset. He/she will be a self-motivated professional who has excellent oral and written communication skills. He/she must be able to prioritise and multi-task to ensure deadlines are met and have the ability to work under pressure.
