Position: Secretary - Dispute Resolution & Insolvency
Location: Cayman Islands

Applications are invited by the Cayman Islands office of Maples & Calder for the position of Secretary to join our Dispute Resolution & Insolvency team.

About the Role

Advising on the laws of the BVI, the Cayman Islands and Ireland, our global Dispute Resolution & Insolvency team provides expert legal advice on cross-border litigation and contentious and non-contentious restructuring. Responsibilities for the role will include, but are not limited to the following: audio transcription; drafting legal documents; organizing and coordinating meetings/travel arrangements; taking, typing and distributing minutes of meetings; as well as generally liaising with clients and lawyers.


What You Bring

The successful candidate will be highly skilled, with at least 5 years prior secretarial experience in a professional office environment. Previous Dispute Resolution and Insolvency experience in a legal environment would be an asset.
