Position: Billing Analyst
Location: Cayman Islands

About the Role
Maples Billing Analyst's are the pivotal component between business operations and finance. Charged with providing exceptional customer service and financial administration, the primary focus of this role will be on the production of client level invoices and the management of client level WIP, AR and Matter Credit balances for our global business teams. The person in this role will be responsible for following established policies, processes and procedures while applying specific knowledge and experience in order to help ensure client level invoicing is completed accurately.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Production of client invoices;
  • Provision of support to business and finance teams globally by effectively becoming an expert in billing processes and the revenue cycle;
  • Working with business teams to ensure accuracy and integrity of client source data;
  • Management of a centralized work inbox collaboratively with colleagues;
  • Performing ad-hoc billing analysis;
  • Monitoring client balances;
  • Processing client account reconciliation requests; and
  • Participating in the annual global billing process.


What You Bring
In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:

  • Post-secondary diploma  (or equivalent);
  • Prior work experience in a similar role (considered an asset);
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment;
  • Excellent organizational and written/verbal skills;
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to a changing work environment;
  • Demonstrate an ability to deliver high quality and accurate work within tight deadlines;
  • Proven capability to multi task and work under pressure; and
  • Fluent in English (required).
