Position: Fund Accountant – CPO/Investment Funds (Temporary Role)
Location: Grand Cayman

About the Role 

Primary responsibilities include: 

  • Preparing and / or reviewing core reconciliations;
  • Reviewing income/expense accruals and fee calculations including management and performance fees,
  • Reviewing investor allocations and investor statements; 
  • Collating internal review file package;
  • Analysing and categorising investment portfolio to support regulatory reporting; and
  • Assisting with the review of audit reports; and other ad hoc tasks.  


What You Bring

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:

  • Experience in Fund Accounting, with an understanding of alternative investment funds;
  • Demonstrate an ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and outside regular business hours (when required); 
  • Solid understanding of NAV calculations, knowledge of complex investment securities/instruments including derivatives and intermediate level Excel skills; 
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and corporate administration would be an advantage;  and
  • Excellent communication skills coupled with strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and an analytical approach to issue resolution.
