OVERVIEW

Anthony is Co-Head of Maples and Calder's Asia Funds & Investment Management teams across the Maples Group's Hong Kong and Singapore offices.  He has acted for a wide variety of sponsors across the region, having advised on the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands aspects of over 500 funds (including many for the best-known private and state-sponsored Chinese promoters of offshore funds).

BACKGROUND

Anthony joined the Group's law firm in the Cayman Islands in 1998. Based in Hong Kong since 2001, he was elected as a partner in 2004. Anthony's expertise is widely recognised and is currently ranked as Eminent Practitioner by Chambers Asia Pacific, Band 1 lawyer for Offshore: Corporate & Finance including Investment Funds by Chambers Global, and recommended as a highly-regarded funds lawyer in Who's Who Legal, The Legal 500, and IFLR1000.

Anthony is currently a member of the China Working Group established by Cayman Finance, the body that represents the interests of the Cayman Islands financial industry overseas.
