Ashiqul assists directors and trustees of client entities in their fiduciary roles within the investment industry.  He is responsible for the preparation of minutes, written resolutions, policy documents, committee and regulatory reports.  Ashiqul is knowledgeable in regulatory and investor requirements and best practices in the alternative investment industry.  He has conducted research on ESG consideration by institutional investors and value relevance of corporate governance and has the following publications:

Previously, Ashiqul worked as a Company Secretary at The Hunger Project in the UK, where he advised the board on corporate governance, legal compliance, and committee effectiveness.  Prior to this, he was the board secretary of the Association of Chairs in London, where he assisted in formulating policies regarding governance, risk, and compliance.  Ashiqul worked as an Associate at Legacy Legal Corporate  in Bangladesh, advising clients on issues related to mortgages, hypothecation, project financing and corporate governance.  He also worked as an Assistant at Amir & Amir Law Associates in Bangladesh.
