OVERVIEW

Ciara is an associate of Maples and Calder's Dispute Resolution & Insolvency team in the Maples Group's Cayman Islands office. Her practice includes commercial litigation across a wide range of financial and commercial disputes relating to investment funds, commercial contracts, economic valuation, shareholder agreements, breaches of director duties and cross-border insolvency.

BACKGROUND

Ciara is a Maples Group legal scholarship recipient who joined the Maples Group as a legal intern in 2015 before becoming an articled clerk in 2019. On qualifying in 2021, she joined the Dispute Resolution & Insolvency team. Previously, Ciara completed internships at another international law firm in the Cayman Islands and in the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions in the Cayman Islands.
