Jonathan Gardner

Jonathan is an associate of Maples and Calder's Funds & Investment Management team in the Maples Group's London office.  He practises Cayman Islands law, advising on the establishment and maintenance of all types of investment funds, in particular hedge funds and related corporate matters.  Jonathan has a particular focus on the regulatory aspects of Cayman Islands investment vehicles. 


Jonathan joined the Maples Group in 2018.  He previously worked in the regulatory financial services, funds and superannuation practices of Allens and Corrs Chambers Westgarth in Sydney, Australia.  Jonathan maintains a keen interest in academia, having previously held teaching roles in company law and contract law at the University of Sydney.
