OVERVIEW

Kim serves as an independent director on a wide range of alternative investment funds including hedge funds, fund of funds, segregated portfolio companies, private equity vehicles and related structures. Kim has over 15 years' experience in the financial services industry with a focus on legal services, governance and fund administration.

BACKGROUND

Kim first joined the Maples Group in 2002 on the finance practice team in the legal services division before transitioning to serve as an independent director within fiduciary services business. She later re-joined the Maples Group in 2019 after working as the Fund Administration Manager at BNY Mellon Fund Management (Cayman) Limited from 2015 until 2018, providing fiduciary and administration services to a large portfolio of institutional trusts operating as investment funds. Kim also worked as an analyst in the Debt Capital Markets Transaction Management team at Credit Suisse First Boston in London.
