OVERVIEW
Noman is of counsel in Maples and Calder's Finance team in the Maples Group's Cayman Islands office. He is a structured finance and securitisation lawyer, with extensive deal structuring, execution and advisory experience.
Noman regularly advises investment banks, asset managers, private equity sponsors and hedge funds on complex international financings structured through the Cayman Islands. He facilitates the funding of a wide range of transactions in the capital markets, by private placements or from loan facilities. In particular, Noman focuses on CLOs, securitisations, repacks, structured products, debt lending and the listing of securities.
BACKGROUND
Noman joined the Maples Group in 2022.Prior to joining he was based in London where he held various senior positions in major US and international law firms, a leading US investment bank and a global financial services provider. Before this, Noman qualified and practised with one of the largest law firms in Dublin, Ireland. He has been recommended for securitisation and recognised as a "Next Generation" lawyer by Legal 500.
