OVERVIEW

Pat is an associate of Maples and Calder's Funds & Investment Management team in the Maples Group's Dublin office. He advises in respect of the establishment, authorisation and on-going operation of Irish regulated investment funds including UCITS, AIFs and other fund products. Pat advises on all types of Irish fund vehicles including ICAVs, CCFs and investment companies. He also advises fund service providers including management companies, administrators, depositaries and investment managers. 

Pat has particular expertise in the ESG and sustainable investment space.  He regularly advises asset managers on the implementation and compliance with the EU’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulations and the Taxonomy Regulation.
 

BACKGROUND

Pat joined the Maples Group in 2021. He previously worked in the asset management group of a leading Irish law firm, where he also trained as a solicitor.
