OVERVIEW
Iain is a partner of Maples and Calder's Funds & Investment Management team in the Maples Group's Singapore office. He specialises in fund formations, down-stream fund transactions, including acquisitions, co-investments and joint ventures and general partner arrangements and fund regulatory work. His clients include large global and regional private equity and hedge funds, boutique managers, smaller start-up funds and investee companies.
BACKGROUND
Iain joined the Maples Group in 2015 and was promoted to partner in 2021. He previously worked for another international firm in Singapore and the Channel Islands. Prior to that he trained with Brodies LLP in Edinburgh.AREAS OF EXPERTISE
