Maples Advises Teamwork on the Investment from Bregal Milestone

Maples and Calder (Ireland) LLP, the Maples Group's law firm, is pleased to have advised Teamwork on the Irish corporate legal aspects of its investment from Bregal Milestone.

Founded in 2007, Teamwork is a software-as-a-services (SaaS) company whose clients include Disney, Netflix, PayPal, HP, Panasonic and Spotify. This marks the first time the Cork-headquartered company has received any external funding from investors, which will fund further growth.

Teamwork, which creates business management applications, currently has more than 20,000 paying customers across 170 countries. The company employs 270 people and its founders were named as EY Entrepreneur of the Year award winners in 2019.

A team based in the firm's Irish office advised Teamwork and was led by Colm Rafferty, a Partner and co-head of the Irish Corporate practice, who was assisted by Of Counsel, Jordan O'Brien.
