OVERVIEW
Ray is an associate of Maples and Calder's Funds & Investment Management team in the Maples Group's London office. He practises Cayman Islands law, advising on the establishment and maintenance of all types of investment funds, in particular hedge funds and related corporate matters. Ray has experience covering corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities and bonds issues, pre-IPO restructuring and financings, initial public offerings and general corporate and commercial transactions.
BACKGROUND
Ray joined the Maples and Calder Hong Kong office in 2020 and moved to the London office in 2021. He was previously an associate at Michael Li & Co. in Hong Kong. Ray is a native Cantonese speaker and fluent in Mandarin.
