Sophie is of counsel of Maples and Calder's Funds & Investment Management team in the Maples Group's London office. She practises Cayman Islands law, advising on the establishment and maintenance of all types of investment funds, in particular hedge funds and related corporate matters.BACKGROUND
Sophie initially joined the Maples Group in 2008. She left in 2014 to pursue interests outside of the law and returned to the Maples Group in 2020. Sophie began her legal career in the corporate department of Allen & Overy LLP in London.AREAS OF EXPERTISE
