OVERVIEW

Tanya is responsible for the management of the Maples Group’s specialty commodity pool operator (CPO) support team that works with in-house or third-party investment fund fiduciary service providers that are subject to US CFTC regulations. Tanya has extensive experience in various compliance, corporate governance, administration and banking matters within the offshore financial services sector in relation to corporate entities including captives and hedge funds. In her current role she also serves as a director on a number of Cayman and Delaware CFTC registered CPOs to investments fund/commodity pools that are operated pursuant to CFTC Rules 4.13 and 4.7 and CFTC Advisory 18-96.

BACKGROUND

Tanya joined the Maples Group in 2012 as Head of Client Accounting and Liquidations which evolved to her current role, Tanya was previously chief operating officer and an executive director for a Cayman Islands Monetary Authority regulated Class A bank and its affiliate, a regulated trust company. Prior to that Tanya held senior management positions within the Finance departments of Bank Vontobel Cayman and CIBC FirstCaribbean. During her time at CIBC Tanya also gained experience in corporate credit and fund administration.
