OVERVIEW

Verity serves as an independent director on a variety of private investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds, SPCs and VCCs, as well as holding companies in fund structures.  Her appointments cover a range of strategies, including equity long-short, fixed income and macro for open-ended funds and real estate, private debt and traditional private equity for closed-ended funds. Verity's appointments cover entities incorporated in the Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, Hong Kong and Singapore. 

BACKGROUND

Previously, Verity worked as a lawyer at large US and Hong Kong law firms in London and Hong Kong.  She has worked on a wide variety of private funds and corporate matters across Asia, the UK and the EU, including being the lead client contact advising hedge and private equity clients on their fund formation and ongoing structuring and corporate matters.  Verity has also taken the lead on downstream private equity transactions as well as direct venture capital investments and acquisitions across various sectors, including real estate, technology and energy.
