OVERVIEW

Tyler is the Global Head of the Maples Group's fund services business and is a member of the executive management team.  He oversees fund accounting, investor services, data management, information systems, operational compliance and business development professionals that deliver fund administration, middle-office outsourcing and regulatory compliance solutions to hedge funds, private asset funds and institutional investors.

Drawing on three decades of experience in the asset management industry and management consulting, Tyler works closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.  His accomplishments in partnering with institutional investors and asset managers were recognised for six consecutive years (2012-2017) on Institutional Investor's Tech 40 list, a global ranking of those who lead the financial services industry in technological achievement and innovation.  

Tyler leads the Maples Group's Montreal office which he helped to launch. In 2021, 2022 and 2023, the Maples Group was named one of Montreal's Top Employers.

BACKGROUND

Prior to joining the Maples Group, Tyler was Chief Technology Officer at Northwater Capital Management. Prior to that, he spent 10 years with EY / Capgemini, where he participated in the launch of technology-based business ventures and managed large transformation initiatives for banks and asset managers across North America and Europe.  Tyler also worked as a Vice President and Associate Partner at Invesco, and started his career at First Hawaiian Bank in research and development.
